Dinosaur World Inc TAMPA  In the woods of Plant City, dinosaurs still roam – or at least they seem to. Tucked into the vegetation are more than 150 models of the giant lizards, brightly colored and lifelike. You'll run across the triceratops, the tyrannosaurus rex and a number of other species that populated the earth millions of years ago. Exhibits in the on-site museum display fossils and other artifacts that explore the lives and demise of earth's past inhabitants. Visitors will also find a picnic area, playground and a gift shop with a good selection of souvenirs, and several hands-on activities for children. Terrific for kids and adults who've never outgrown their fascination with dinosaurs.
